Get answers to common questions about Pore Refining Facial.
This facial combines gentle exfoliation, anti-inflammatory ingredients, and pore-clearing extractions to free trapped hairs and reduce follicular inflammation. It soothes razor burn, encourages proper hair growth direction, and reduces the recurrence of ingrown hairs with regular treatments.
Yes. The treatment is tailored for all skin types, including sensitive skin. We select calming, non-irritating products and adjust exfoliation intensity to your skin’s needs to minimize irritation while promoting hydration and barrier repair.
Appointments typically last 45 to 60 minutes. That includes consultation, cleansing, targeted exfoliation, extractions if needed, soothing masks, and post-treatment hydration. Time may vary slightly based on skin condition and whether additional add-ons are selected.
Avoid heavy shaving, strong exfoliants, or irritating treatments 48 hours before your session. Come with clean skin and inform your esthetician about recent skincare products, medications, or sensitivity to guide a safe, effective treatment.
The treatment refines and minimizes pore appearance, but results are not permanent. Regular maintenance facials, consistent at-home cleansing and exfoliation, sun protection, and avoiding pore-clogging products help sustain improvements long-term.
We recommend waiting 24-48 hours before shaving to allow skin to calm and barrier to recover. If you must shave sooner, use a fresh blade, gentle shaving cream, and shave lightly to minimize irritation and reduce risk of ingrown hairs.
