Get answers to common questions about Under Arm.

Avoid shaving for 2–3 weeks so hair reaches about 1/4 inch. Gently exfoliate 48 hours before, avoid retinoids, and come with clean, dry underarms. Our team will review any special instructions when booking and at check-in.

Mild redness or tenderness is common immediately after waxing and usually subsides within hours to a day. We use soothing products and cooling techniques, and provide aftercare advice to soothe skin and reduce sensitivity.

Most clients experience smooth underarms for three to six weeks depending on their hair growth cycle. With consistent waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and intervals can lengthen, offering longer-lasting smoothness.

Some brief discomfort is normal during hair removal, but it’s quick. Our estheticians use techniques to minimize pain, including proper skin support, swift removal, and calming post-wax care. We tailor pace for comfort.

Do not wax over freshly shaved, sunburned, irritated, or broken skin. For sensitive skin we recommend a patch test or waiting until irritation subsides. Technicians assess skin before service and advise the safest timing.

Keep the area clean and avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe, exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours, and avoid antiperspirant the first day if possible.
