You may feel a quick sting, but discomfort is brief. Our estheticians use proper technique, supportive pressure and soothing products to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine beforehand, breathe deeply, and exfoliate between sessions for easier waxing. Numbing cream is available on request.

Come with clean, makeup-free skin and hair about ¼ inch long (around 7–10 days of growth). Avoid retinoids, chemical peels and heavy sun exposure for several days beforehand. If skin is sensitive, mention it so we can adjust technique.

Typically results last two to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and hormones. With regular waxing, hair often regrows finer and sparser, allowing longer intervals between visits. We will recommend a personalized schedule after assessment.

Waxing can sometimes cause temporary redness or ingrown hairs, especially if skin is prone to sensitivity. We minimize risk by using proper technique, post-wax soothing products and advising exfoliation and antibacterial care. If ingrowns occur, professional treatments and home care protocols help resolve them.

Certain conditions make waxing inadvisable: sunburned or broken skin, recent chemical peels, active cold sores, severe acne, or recent isotretinoin (Accutane). Blood-thinning medications and some dermatologic treatments may increase risk. Disclose medications and skin history during booking for safe guidance.

Immediately avoid heat, heavy makeup and sun exposure for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Apply cool compresses and a gentle aloe or post-wax lotion we provide. Begin gentle exfoliation after forty-eight to seventy-two hours to prevent ingrowns, and always use SPF outdoors to protect treated skin.
